The Penelope Barker House, Edenton & Chowan County’s Welcome Center – Admission is FREE
The Penelope Barker House is the home of the Edenton Historical Commission, the Historic Edenton Trolley Tour, and the Barker House Shop. As the Welcome Center, we also serve as the first point-of-contact for visitors to Edenton. Monday, Wednesday-Saturday: 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM

Winter Hours of Operation: December 24, 2023-April 1, 2024
Monday, Wednesday-Saturday: 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Closed on Sunday and Tuesday

Please note that as the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center is a historic home, service animals are welcome but no pets, please.
